barr picBarre is a total body program that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat in record-breaking time. Are you a women struggling with flabby abs and arms? Or droopy thighs and butt? Barre helps defy gravity by lifting everything up! These classes are designed to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body by utilizing the ballet barre and other props to perform small isometric movements. Students will focus on form and precision while instructors emphasize basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle activation. Strength sections are immediately followed by a stretching section to create long, lean muscle without bulk. These workouts are challenging, and because there is no impact, Barre technique actually protects and improves the function of your joints. Set to empowering music, these classes require mental focus and Pilates – like precision for maximum results.
